    2 ½ cup maida
    ½ cup badam paste
    1 ¼ cup rice flour
    100 ml milk
    few strands of saffron
    ¼ tsp green eliachi powder
    25 ml ghee
    oil or ghee to cook
    water as needed

    For sugar syrup:
    1 ½ cup water
    3 few strands of saffron
    ¼ tsp green eliachi powder
    3 cup sugar

    2 tbsp chopped pistachio
    1 tbsp powdered coconut
    2 ½ cup maida: 2 ½ cup badam paste: 0 1 ¼ cup rice flour: 1 100 ml milk: 100 few strands of saffron: 0 ¼ tsp green eliachi powder: 0 25 ml ghee: 25 oil or ghee to cook: 0 water as needed: 0 : 0 For sugar syrup:: 0 1 ½ cup water: 1 3 few strands of saffron: 3 ¼ tsp green eliachi powder: 0 3 cup sugar: 3 : 0 2 tbsp chopped pistachio: 2 1 tbsp powdered coconut: 1 : 0

How To Make

In a large bowl add maida, rice flour, almond paste and milk and knead a soft dough using sufficient water. Keep the dough aside for 15 minutes.
 In a vessel heat the water for making sugar syrup. Now addsaffron, sugar and cardamom into boiling water. Stir continue to make a one string sugar syrup. Keep sugar syrup warm. 
Now make small balls of the dough and roll out each ball into a small round puri. Apply a little ghee on the puri and fold in semi circle. Now again fold in triangle shape and press gently or with rolling pin. Now do the same for the remaining balls. 
Now heat sufficint oil in a pan and fry all the puris till light golden brown in color. Immediately soak puris one by one in sugar syrup. Allow to soak for ten minutes. Remove and garnish with chopped pistachio and powdered coconut, serve immediately.
